Fine-tuning
Taking a pre-trained AI model and training it further on your specific data to make it better at a particular task. Like teaching a generally knowledgeable person the specifics of your industry.
Fine-tuning is often presented as the solution to making AI work for your business. In practice, it's expensive, requires significant data, and is usually overkill. RAG or good prompt engineering solves most business problems more efficiently.
